Susan English-Thompson is the owner and managing audiologist of Sackville and Alderney Hearing Centre. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Iowa, U.S.A. her Masters of Science Degree in Audiology at Dalhousie University and her Doctor of Audiology degree from A.T. Still University of Health Sciences in Arizona in 2010.
Upon graduation she worked as an audiologist at Willow Hearing Care in Truro, Nova Scotia before opening Sackville Hearing Centre in May 1999. She then became the owner of Alderney Hearing Centre in May 2014. She is licensed through the Nova Scotia College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists (NSCASLP), is certified through the Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC), and is an active member of the Canadian Academy of Audiology (CAA), and Sounds+.
Her continued interest and love of audiology is evident in her day-to-day interactions with her patients. Originally from Newfoundland, she now resides in the Sackville area with her husband and three children.
